Good Start

After bogeying my first 3 holes of the day, I was able to settle in and make 6 birdies the rest of the way to shoot 69.  A solid start.  Tomorrow should be a fun day out there as the high is 55 and allegedly will rain all day.  Ashley's favorite kind of weather!  I thought southern Spain was a warm getaway this time of year!

Blaums Away!!!

This marks the initial entry of our blog! We figured it would only be fitting to start while we are in another country (and continent) since travel has occupied a majority of our marriage so far.  We are currently in Murcia, Spain where Ryan is competing in the 2nd Stage of the European Qualifying School Tournament. We arrived last night after about 22 hours of travel (the trip elongated itself after our cross-Atlantic flight needed to turn around after 2 hours in the air), so we promptly went to sleep upon arriving.  Today was the practice round and grocery-store-trip to stock up on food for the week.  We are staying in a villa that's on the golf course's property - it's really pretty! The area here in southern Spain looks a little bit like Fresno, CA, but the people speak a different language... sorta.

The tournament starts tomorrow so we'll keep you posted!! Ryan tees off at 10:45am local time.  (I have no idea what that means for you at home)
